    A little bit about myself

    I’m a born and raised Melbourne boy who is all about having an amazing night with friends and family with food and wine in hand. My passions are in events - especially weddings – travelling and of course food and wine.

    I travelled through Europe any chance I had while living in London – it’s where I also met my partner who followed me back home.

    From Florence to Bordeaux, Granada to Stockholm - I’ve sampled some of the best food and sights the world can offer – and can’t wait to explore some more. 

     

    Experience in the hospitality/events industry

    I started off in hospitality in 2011 working for a restaurant and bar within a hotel environment - that’s where I discovered my passion for events. The wedding coordinator took me under her wing and I volunteered any spare time I had to learn as much as possible.

    From there I worked my way through London and I was a part of a team where we opened a new pioneer restaurant and event space. I was looking after all the events – from the enquiry, to tailoring the event and ensuring it ran smoothly on the day.

    I moved back to Melbourne and started working with Melbourne Events Group and as the saying goes, the rest is history.

     

    What I love the most about my job

    The thing I love most about my job is having a connection with the bride and groom – and feeling like I’m one of their friends on their special day. The part that I always find truly memorable is standing with the bride just before she walks down the aisle – with serious dress envy – ensuring she knows how beautiful she looks and that I’m one of last people she talks to before she is married.

     

    Favourite dish on our menu right now

    What isn’t there to love off the menu? Everything is so delicious! But my favourite dish at the moment is the fennel and vanilla panna cotta with citrus salad, honeycomb and bee pollen. I love my desserts and everything sweet – but I remember the first time I tried this; I was just blown away at how amazing it was. It is always my biggest recommendation to any future bride & groom.
